A study from Science Daily shows us that eating refined sugars and unhealthy fats in children aged 2-9 is associated with less self-esteem and higher emotional and peer problems.

60% of children eat too little fruits and a whopping 95% eat too few of vegetables.

The choices we make daily are affecting how our kids are learning and growing.

Why am I teaching this?

Two reasons:

1.) I entered into motherhood the hard way… I struggled with depression, anxiety and overwhelm. I knew that if I didn’t take control of my situation, it could easily control me for the rest of my mom-life experience. I didn’t want that.

2.) I went back to school when my daughter was still a baby to become an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. This taught me how to eat healthy food in a way that is practical - and how to teach this to other moms!

I’m here because you don’t have to live your life feeling stressed and overwhelmed.

I can help you learn the solution if you trust me.

 

I firmly believe that packaged food companies have led us down the wrong path. They’ve marketed this storu to us that we are too busy, to overwhelmed, and basically a hot mess. Therefor we’re not capable of cooking.

This is totally false. The truth is you are totally capable of creating a lifestyle shift for your family through healthy meal prep.

I used to be overwhelmed in my mom life, and because my energy was low I felt totally unmotivated to cook at home. I bought the lazy meals instead which continuted the cycle of being unhappy in my motherhood. But now I have a different story to tell.

Now, the way I use meal prep has create a sense of balance and pride in how I nourish and take care of my family. It has helped my daughter eat a variety of nutritious foods, and I am more present for my family, and my life!

My meals aren’t a constant guessing game of stress and overwhelm - instead my kitchen is the heart of our home. It’s organized, it’s a place for me to enjoy my time and serve my family nutritious meals. It’s the place where our sweet memories are made.
